At Mount Pisgah, we believe in the power of prayer. We believe that prayer is our opportunity to approach God with our needs and praise. We can do that individually, seeking God directly. We can also do that through other Christians who know the value of prayer and who can pray knowing that God will hear and answer our prayers according to His divine purpose in our lives.
There are many opportunities to pray for our members, our church and our world. The Prayer List, featured each week in the Sunday bulletin, highlights the cares, concerns and requests of the congregation. Tuesday Morning Prayer Group
Every Tuesday morning of every week, church members gather around the Conference Room table to write cards and pray for members and families that need and/or have requested prayer. These prayer concerns and celebrations come by way of phone calls, prayer request cards placed in the offering plates on Sunday mornings, recommendations and requests from staff members, and many other ways.
Mount Pisgah is a "praying" congregation and for more than 20 years, this weekly prayer group has "covered" this community of faith with prayer. Everyone is invited to the prayer table at 8:00 a.m. each Tuesday!
