Prayer Requests

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 4:6-7

At Mount Pisgah, we believe in the power of prayer. We believe that prayer is our opportunity to approach God with our needs and praise. We can do that individually, seeking God directly. We can also do that through other Christians who know the value of prayer and who can pray knowing that God will hear and answer our prayers according to His divine purpose in our life.

At Mount Pisgah, we will pray with you and we will pray for you. Prayer requests may be submitted to the staff and the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group via the prayer request cards located in the Sanctuary pews. These may be placed in the offering plates on Sunday mornings at the 8:30 and 11:00 services, or dropped in the prayer box at the 9:30 and 11:15 services in the Fellowship Hall. You may also email your prayer request to LuAnn Christy or Donald Thomas, or call the Church Office at (336) 288-3321 to leave your request with LuAnn (ext. 221) or Donald (ext. 227).

If you would like to pray with someone or have someone pray for a special need, please contact the Church Office at (336) 288-3321 and ask for a minister. We can place you in touch with a prayer partner who can either meet with you or simply pray for you by phone.

Prayer List

If desired, the name of the individual receiving prayer can be included on our prayer list, printed each Sunday in the bulletin and online. Individuals remain on the prayer list for four weeks, unless the request is renewed or modified.
